@ButlerUWSoccer Defeats Ball State for Sixth Straight

MUNCIE, Ind. - The Butler women's soccer team (6-1-0) scored early and then cruised to a 3-0 victory over Ball State (2-4-0) on Sunday afternoon.
 
Key Moments
  • 6' | Amanda Kowalski hits a corner kick from the left side. Abigail Isger touches it directly into the lower left side of the goal, giving Butler a 1-0 lead.
  • 24' | Anastasia Savich plays a ball into the box. Gretchen Skoglund collects it, eludes her defender, and sends the ball to the back of the net. Dawgs up, 2-0.
  • 29' | Savich hits a hard shot from inside the box which goes just over the crossbar.
  • 38' | On a quick free kick from just outside the left corner of the box, Anna Schroeder passes to Skoglund who shoots and forces a diving save.
  • 43' | The ball is bounced around in front of Ball State's goal, with a flurry of shots. Schroeder gets off the last, and best, opportunity, but just over the crossbar.
