SET 1: Butler 25-17
The Bulldogs got off to a slow start, but climbed back into the action to tie the contest at 14-14. The Pirates committed four service errors early to keep Butler close and a BU ace from Brooklyne Darby moments later would put the home team in front 20-16. BU broke a 16-16 tie to grab control of the opener with a 5-0 scoring run. Mariah Grunze got BU to set point with her fourth kill of the set and a BU block would signal the end of set one at 25-17.

SET 2: Seton Hall 25-21
Butler opened up a small lead over SHU, but Jenna Walsh would use her serve to help the Pirates score four-straight tying the action at 11-11. Asli Subasili was next in line for the Pirates and her serve put the visitors in front 16-12 forcing a BU timeout. Another 4-0 SHU scoring run moved the scoreboard to 20-13 and the two teams would head into the break tied at 1-1.

SET 3: Butler 25-16
Butler broke an 8-8 tie to grab a 14-10 advantage. Amina Shackelford delivered back-to-back kills for the 'Dawgs to cushion the BU lead during that stretch. Moments later, the standout sophomore would be credited with a solo block to give the Bulldogs a 17-12 lead and force Seton Hall into a timeout. Shackelford had four kills in the third taking her match total to nine.

SET 4: Butler 25-19
Cora Taylor broke a 10-10 tie with an ace and the Bulldogs would ride that momentum into a 14-11 lead.
