Day 1 Results

The Bulldogs are tied for second after the opening 18 holes of the 2022 Dayton Flyer Invitational. The teams will tee it up for the final round Tuesday morning in Ohio.
 
THE BULLDOGS:
 
Freshman Kelli Scheck is the top Bulldog after the first round as her seven-over 77 on the 5,958-yard NCR Country Club North Course has her tied for sixth.

Anci Dy of the University of Indianapolis holds the first round lead after shooting four-over 74 Monday. She holds a one-shot lead on the individual leaderboard.
 
There are a total of 65 players in the field, with all six Bulldog competitors among the top third.
 
THE TEAMS:
 
Butler is four shots off the pace of host and first round leader Dayton. The Flyers shot 311 (+31) Monday. The Bulldogs and the University of Indianapolis each posted team scores of 315 (+35).
 
The Bulldogs were the runner-up in last year's event.
 
The 2022 event field includes 10 teams.
 
TUESDAY SCHEDULE: The final round is scheduled for a 10:30 a.m. shotgun start.
