@ButlerUWSoccer Settles for Draw with Seton Hall

SOUTH ORANGE, N.J. – The Butler women's soccer team had the lead twice in a match with Seton Hall but, ultimately, settled for a 2-2 tie. The Bulldogs (7-7-2, 4-3-1 BIG EAST) scored first and led at halftime, 1-0. The Pirates (5-9-3, 1-7-1 BIG EAST) answered 17 minutes into the second half, but Butler converted a penalty and once again led, 2-1, with ten minutes to play. With the clock winding down, a Butler foul led to a free kick for Seton Hall. The service found an open Pirate at the back post, and the game ended in a draw.

  • 71' | Sara Trandji collects a pass from Diagne at the 18, and her shot is just inches over the bar.
  • 77' | A Soderstrom cross into the area is redirected by Isger toward the goal, but it is blocked.
