INDIANAPOLIS – The Butler women's soccer team held a two-goal lead into the 65
th minute over conference-leading No. 16 Georgetown but conceded goals in the 65
th and 90
th minutes of a 2-2 draw. The Bulldogs (7-7-3, 4-3-2 BIG EAST) were looking to clinch a spot in the BIG EAST Tournament but will have to wait until results are in on the final day of conference action. The Hoyas (12-1-5, 8-0-2 BIG EAST) have locked up the No. 1 seed for postseason play.
With one game remaining for most teams, Butler sits in a tie for fourth with Creighton. St. John's is only one point ahead, in third. UConn and Marquette are currently tied for the sixth position, three points back. The Bulldogs control their own destiny: with a tie or win against the Bluejays, they would qualify for postseason play, regardless of other results.

Key Moments
- 17' | Katie Soderstrom finds Abigail Isger about 35 yards from the goal on the left side. Isger turns and hits a diagonal chip toward Talia Sommer in the middle, just over the defensive line. To avoid the charging keeper, Sommer chips the ball again, over the keeper and into the goal for a 1-0 lead.
- 29' | Aliya Diagne beats her defender on the left side and plays forward to Isger. Isger puts a move on her defender and strikes a hard shot from the left side of the penalty area. The 25-yard shot eludes the diving Georgetown keeper and curls just inside the far post. Butler's lead grows to 2-0.
