The Bulldogs hosted 15 teams at Highland Country Club over the past two days, ultimately registering a fourth-place team finish at the Butler Fall Invitational.

THE BULLDOGS: Alaina Bowie's 74 Tuesday moved her into the Top 10 on the individual leaderboard. Bowie's 54-hole total of 229 (+19) was good enough for a tie for ninth. Â

Taylor Dedmen of Austin Peay used a one-under 69 Tuesday to climb the leaderboard and take medalist honors. Her 54-hole total of 217 (+7) was six shots better than a trio of golfers who tied for second.

THE COMPETITION: Austin Peay's 289 (+9) Tuesday was the best team score of the three-round tournament by 11 strokes. APSU and Youngstown State entered the day tied before Austin Peay claimed a 16-shot win.

UIC held on for third. Butler and Marshall entered the final round tied for fourth, but the Bulldogs were able to claim a two-shot advantage over the final round for a fourth-place finish.
