ROSEMONT, Ill. - The Butler softball team opened its season with an indoor tournament in Rosemont, Ill., winning four games and losing two. The final game for the Bulldogs (4-2) was a 5-0 loss at the hands of Bowling Green (4-1). Butler's only other loss came to those same Falcons just two days earlier.

Butler Pitching
Karli Ricketts (2-1) started in the circle for Butler and took the loss. She threw 4.0 innings, allowing two hits, two runs (both earned), and one walk, while striking out six. Alyssa Graves (1.0 IP, H, 2 R, 2 ER, BB, 2K) and Madison Seigworth (2.0 IP, 2 H, R, ER, BB, K) provided relief out of the bullpen.
