EVANSTON, Ill. – The Butler women's soccer team battled rain and wind in a 1-0 setback to Northwestern on the shores of Lake Michigan. The Wildcats (6-1-1) scored in the seventh minutes and held off the charging Bulldogs (3-4) for the remainder of the contest. At the final whistle, Butler led in most statistical categories, but, without a finish on the day, conceded the loss.
