INDIANAPOLIS – The Butler women's soccer team lost its second conference match on Sunday, a 4-1 decision to Marquette. The Bulldogs (3-6-1, 0-2-0 BIG EAST) scored early to take the lead but could not hold off the Golden Eagles (6-3-1, 2-0-0 BIG EAST) who scored the final four goals of the game.

• 6' | Katie Soderstrom takes a pass from Talia Sommer in the middle and passes to Alexei Whittaker on the left side. Whittaker chips the ball forward, back to a sprinting Sommer, who one-times it over the charging Marquette keeper and into the goal. Butler takes an early, 1-0, lead.
• 28' | Marquette's Katie Koker plays a ball to the right corner where Kate Gibson sends it directly toward the goal. Elsi Twombly finishes with her head to level the match at one.
