MILWAUKEE, Wis. - The Butler men's soccer team picked up its second BIG EAST road win in as many matches on Friday, with a 3-1 victory over Marquette. The (rv) Bulldogs (6-2-1, 2-0-1 BIG EAST) scored one in the first half and added one more, early in the second. The Golden Eagles (4-5-1, 0-1-1 BIG EAST) responded with 17 minutes remaining, but Butler notched a third goal to seal the win with just four minutes to play.

Ault collects the ball at his feet and turns, sliding the ball past the Marquette keeper and giving the Bulldogs a two-goal lead.
- 73' | A Butler defender slides to stop a long Marquette pass, but gets only a piece of it. Marquette's Diegoarmando Alvarado takes the deflection and scores just inside the far post. Butler's lead is cut to 2-1.
- 86' | Cabrera, Jr. carries down the right side and holds the ball, waiting for advancing Bulldogs. He sends the ball to Ault, in the middle, and Ault puts a move on the defense and hits the back of the right corner of the net. The lead is back to two, 3-1.
