Butler's men's tennis team faced Indiana in Bloomington on Sunday, falling by a score of 4-0. The Bulldogs still maintain a winning record after the loss at 4-3.
Indiana took the doubles point to start.
Thomas Brennan and
Alvaro Huete Vadillo were beat out at the No. 1 spot.
Rahulniket Konakanchi and
Patrick Joss battled closely at the No. 3 but lost 6-4.
Indiana earned points at the No. 1, No. 3, and No. 6 spots to close out the match. Butler showed bright spots in Huete Vadillo and
Borja Miralles who were in close second sets before the matches went unfinished.
Butler matches up with Cleveland State and Findlay for a doubleheader next Saturday, Feb. 4.
