The men's tennis team concluded their regular season play with a 6-1 win over Marquette. The Bulldog's finished with a 13-9 record and 4-1 in conference play. The match also served as senior day for two Bulldogs, Thomas Brennan and Zach Trimpe. 
 
Butler started by earning the doubles point with all three courts featuring close sets. Last week's BIG EAST duo of the week, Brennan and Alvaro Huete Vadillo, won again from the No. 1. Rahulniket Konakanchi and Patrick Joss teamed up to close out the point from the No. 3. 
 
Five singles matches went in the favor of the Bulldogs. Brennan won his sixth consecutive match from the top spot. His doubles teammate Huete Vadillo also defeated his opponent from the No. 2 in just two sets. Konakanchi was the third to take his match in straight sets with Joss and Nicolas Arts taking theirs in three sets to earn points from the No. 4, No. 5, and No. 6 courts. 
 
Butler will now look to make a postseason run as the men's side of the BIG EAST tournament begins on Friday, April 21.
