COLUMBUS, Ohio – The Butler men's soccer team and Ohio State were scoreless at the half, but the No. 12 Buckeyes (5-0-1) scored in the 73
rd minute to defeat the Bulldogs (3-2-2), at Jesse Owens Memorial Stadium, by the final score of 1-0.
 
Key Moments
	- 4' | The Ohio State keeper passes to a defender who takes a bad touch. Palmer Ault charges at the ball, and the defender slides, but Ault gets a deflected shot, on frame, that is saved. 
 
	- 27' | The Buckeyes take a straight-on shot from 18 yards out, but Caleb Norris is there for Butler and makes the save.
	HALFTIME 
	- 47' | A Butler free kick is blocked by the Buckeyes wall, but Henri Kumwenda volleys the bouncing ball. His shot hits the crossbar and caroms high, to the left, and out of the area.
 
	- 73' | Ohio States connects a couple of passes in the penalty area, and Nick Skubis is able to slide a ball on the ground past Norris and into the goal. The Buckeyes take the 1-0 lead.
 
	- 87' | Butler earns a late corner kick. The service is headed toward the goal, in a high arc, and Ohio State is able to make the save.
 
Bulldog Bits
	- Caleb Norris made a season-high seven saves in the match. He now has 111 for his career.
 
	- Norris made ten saves in last season's match vs. Ohio State.
