INDIANAPOLIS – The Butler men's soccer team came from behind to earn a draw with Indiana in a Wednesday-night battle in the Sellick Bowl. The Hoosiers (1-1-2) controlled much of the first half and took a 1-0 lead with a goal in the 12
thminute. The Bulldogs (2-0-2) battled back after the break, outshooting Indiana, 13-4. In the 65
th minute, Butler connected three passes over the full length of the field and finished in the back of the net, leveling the score at one.

- 12' | A cross from the left side finds Indiana's Tommy Mihalic in the area. Mihalic moves right to create space, then turns and drops to Patrick McDonald. McDonald one-times a left-footed shot into the upper left corner of the net from 21 yards out. The Hoosiers take the early lead.
- 18' | Palmer Ault receives the ball on the left side, cuts to the middle, and finds the feet of Josemir Gomez 25 yards in front of the goal. Gomez strikes a hard shot off a volley, but it is saved.
- 26' | A Butler handball in the area leads to a PK. Indiana's attempt from the spot sails just over the bar.

- 53' | Ault is fouled 20 yards out. The free kick from Joost de Schutter slides past the wall but is saved by the Indiana keeper.
- 65' | Caleb Norris serves a long ball that finds the head Gomez. Ault then volleys the ball forward to Ryan Hannosh. Hannosh pushes forward, battling with the final defender, and then sends the ball past the Indiana keeper. The score is level at one.
