INDIANAPOLIS – The Butler men's soccer team trailed Marquette early but fought back to come away with its third consecutive victory. The visiting Golden Eagles (5-4-2, 0-4-0 BIG EAST) scored in the 11^th minute, but the Bulldogs (5-8-0, 2-2-0 BIG EAST) responded with one goal prior to the break, and another with 12 minutes in the match, picking up their second conference win this season.

• 11' | Marquette earns a corner. The service is headed down in front of the goal and then re-directed to the back of the net by Mitchell Dryden. The Golden Eagles take the early lead.
• 25' | Ryan Hannosh draws a foul near the end line, just outside the penalty area. Sam Pitts-Eckersall drives a ball toward the face of the goal that is headed out of the area. Off the volley, Bernardo Raposo strikes from the top of the arc. The Marquette keeper gets his fingertips on the ball, but it is not enough for the save. The match is level at one.

• 78' | Lou-Kent Bosc carries down the left side and plays forward to Josemir Gomez, who is running toward the end line. Gomez hits a hard ball across the face of the goal that is re-directed away by Marquette. Aiden Benitez takes the clearance off the chest and shoots off the bounce. The ball slides just inside the right post, putting the Dawgs on top, 2-1.
