Butler Splits up to Compete at the Raleigh Relays and in St. Louis

The Butler track and field team will have a busy weekend with eight Bulldogs selected to compete at the Adidas Raleigh Relays in Raleigh, N.C. while the rest of the team heads to compete at three different meets in St. Louis, Mo.

Raleigh Relays
On Thursday, seven of the Bulldog men distance runners will kick off competition in a loaded field at the 2025 Adidas Raleigh Relays. 

William Zegarski and Jesse Hamlin will make their 2025 track debuts in the men's 5,000 meters after not competing in the indoor season. They will be joined by 2025 All-Big East Indoor honoree Matthew Forrester along with Austin Gabay and David Slapak.

The race will feature a total of 248 athletes in the 5K and is set to begin the first of nine different heats at 6:49 PM ET.

The men's 10,000 meters will directly follow the 5K with Butler's Luke Henseler and Jack McMahon set to face off against 125 other student-athletes. The first heat is currently slated for 9:25 PM ET. 

On Friday, Wiktoria Klebowska is set to represent the Bulldog women in the 5,000 meters. The women's 5K currently has 255 entrants and is scheduled to begin at 6:25 PM ET.

St. Louis
In St. Louis, the rest of the team will kick off competition at the WashU Distance Carnival on Thursday in the 5K and 10K. The meet will conclude on Friday with Joe Barrett being the lone Bulldog racing in the men's 1,500 meters.

Friday will also mark the first day of competition for the rest of the sprints team at Saint Louis University. The Bulldogs will first toe the line at SLU Speed & Power Meet followed by the Billiken Invite on Saturday
