The Butler baseball team came up with an impressive 17-5 win at Evansville on Tuesday night to record their 11th win of the season. The Bulldogs scored five runs in the fourth, five more in the fifth and four in the seventh to end the game after seven innings.

Nine different players registered an RBI in the victory and the pitching limited the Aces to just six hits. Offensively,
Jack Moroknek went 3-for-5 from the dish with three RBI's and two runs scored.
Danny Barbero,
Zach Munton,
David Ayers, and
AJ Solomon also impacted the action with two RBI's each.

Moroknek and Barbero each had a double in the win and Ayers came up with a triple.

Six Bulldog pitchers touched the rubber to help BU come out on top.
Simon Linde got the start and threw the first two innings.
Jack Griffiths was next in line to strikeout out three batters in the third.
Alex Thomas matched Griffiths with three K's and would be in line for the win.

The final two outs came from
Corbin Snyder, both on strikeouts.

Butler will gear up for their BIG EAST home opener this weekend. Villanova will be in town for the three-game series that gets underway on Friday.
