WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. – The Butler women's soccer team traveled to Purdue on Sunday and came away with a 1-1 draw. The Bulldogs (2-0-1) scored in the first half, on a corner kick, but conceded a goal to the Boilermakers (2-1-1) in the 78
th minute.

- 13' | Lucia Englund carries on the left side and finds Léa Larouche in the left corner. The cross from Larouche is headed high but comes down in front of the goal. Norah Jacomen gets a foot on it, but the low shot goes just left off the post.
- 34' | Butler earns a corner kick, and Talia Sommer serves from the right side. The ball is flicked by Chloe Brecht at the near post, across the face of the goal, and Leila Lister vollies it with her right foot just under the crossbar. The Dawgs take a 1-0 lead.
HALFTIME
- 74' | Purdue gets an open shot from the right side of the penalty area, and Addison Ash makes the save. The ball, however, is deflected in front of the goal and bounces. A Boilermaker attacker heads the ball at the open net, but it sails just left of the far post.
- 78' | A long, Purdue service towards the middle of the field is flicked on, between two Butler defenders. As three players run for the ball, the Boilermakers attacker gets a foot on it first, poking past the Bulldogs defender and keeper and into the goal. The score is now level, 1-1.
- 79' | Sommer carries among defenders and makes a hard strike toward the near post. The shot is saved by the Boilermakers keeper.
- 83' | The Bulldogs make a steal on Purdue's half. Sommer carries forward and shoots at the 18-yard line, but the hard strike is deflected out, leading to a corner kick.
