Jordan Ellerbee - FGCU 2026

ASUN All-Freshman Team Selection Jordan Ellerbee Joins Butler Basketball Program

| By:
Jordan Ellerbee, who earned ASUN All-Freshman Team honors while setting the Florida Gulf Coast freshman scoring program record during the 2025-26 season, has signed with the Butler men's basketball program. The 6-3 guard will have three seasons of eligibility remaining, beginning with the 2026-27 campaign.

"We're fired up to bring Jordan into our program," said Butler head coach Ronald Nored. "He's an explosive guard who has shown the ability to score at all three levels. His athleticism and competitiveness allow him to be impactful on both ends. Jordan had a really strong freshman season at FGCU but we are confident that his best basketball is ahead of him."

Ellerbee played in all 34 games for FGCU, starting 24, during the 2025-26 season. He averaged 13.1 points per game, which ranked 15th in the ASUN. His 446 points were a program record for an FGCU freshman. Ellerbee led the team with 55 made three-pointers, shooting 35 percent from behind the arc. He had five 20-point games on the season, including a 42-point performance against Kennesaw State Nov. 26. He scored in double figures 25 times during the campaign. He added 3.4 rebounds and 2.1 assists per game.

Ellerbee, from Philadelphia, Pa., was named the 2024-25 Pennsylvania Gatorade Player of the Year, scoring more than 1,000 points at St. Joseph's Prep. He was selected as the Philadelphia Catholic League MVP, a Class 6A All-State first-team honoree, and was a finalist for Pennsylvania's Mr. Basketball after averaging 16.3 points, 6.3 rebounds and 5.2 assists per game as a senior.
