INDIANAPOLIS – The Butler women's soccer team hosted Ball State for its home opener on Thursday evening, and the final result was a 1-1 draw. The Cardinals (1-0-1), out of the Mid-American Conference, took the lead with a goal just after the break. The Bulldogs (0-1-1) responded late in the match, leveling the score in the 81
st minute.
Chloe Brecht tallied her first goal of the season off an assist from
Riley Gumm.
