CHARLESTON, ILL. -- Sophomores Katie Clark and Craig Jordan posted
individual victories to lead Butler at the EIU Friday Night
Special, hosted by Eastern Illinois on Friday (Feb. 18). The
meet was Butler's final tune-up prior to the Horizon League
Indoor Championship, Feb. 26-27.
Clark won the women's mile run in 4:57.39, while sophomore
Lauren McKillop placed fifth in 5:05.23. Jordan captured the
men's mile in 4:14.51, two places ahead of junior Craig
Gundersen (4:21.16). Junior Matt Proctor came in sixth in the
mile in 4:27.89, while freshman Kevin Oblinger was seventh in
4:27.90.
Junior Lauren Haberkorn placed third in the women's 3,000 in
10:17.85. Freshman Tom Brueggemann came in fifth in the
men's 200 in 22.58, while freshman Brad Magnetta was fifth in
the men's 800 in 1:59.39.
