INDIANAPOLIS -- The Bulldogs will head to Detroit on Saturday afternoon to face the Titans for their home opener at Ultimate Soccer Arena. The Titans lost their season opener 24-9 last week to #8 Notre Dame.
 
Season Opener Recap
The Butler women's lacrosse team made history on Sunday, Feb. 12 after playing their first-ever lacrosse game at Victory Field. BU hosted the Liberty Flames with the Flames coming out on top 16-9.
 
Haley Hallenbeck and Madison Christian came up big for the Dawgs with three goals each along with Journey Fischbeck contributing two and Adilyn Smith with one.
 
Scouting Detroit
The Bulldogs will have to keep an eye on Morgan Giaradi who scored three goals against Notre Dame as well as Kelsi Pritchard and Lexie Kinmond who both ended the contest with two goals. Detroit finished last season with a 12-8 overall record. The Titans set new all-time season high totals with 313 points and 78 assists.
