At the No. 1 doubles spot in the Bulldogs' match at Valparaiso Friday afternoon, Mason Dragos and Mikheil Khmiadashvili won their match, 6-4, over Valparaiso's Jeffrey Schorsch and Charlie Eernhardt. The Valpo team is ranked No. 17 in the latest ITA national rankings. 

The Crusaders captured the doubles point by winning the second and third courts, and then won six straight-set singles matches. At the end of the day, Valparaiso topped Butler, 7-0, Friday at the Courts of Northwest Indiana.

The Bulldogs are back in action with a pair of weekend matches at the Butler Bubble. The team hosts Dayton Saturday at 1 p.m., followed by a Sunday match against Southern Indiana at 12:30 p.m.
