@ButlerWSoccer and Seton Hall End in 0-0 Tie

Box Score

SOUTH ORANGE, N.J. – The Bulldogs moved to 8-1-2 overall with a 0-0 tie at Seton Hall on Thursday night. 110 minutes of back and forth action could not separate the two clubs. The result marks Butler's ninth-straight shutout of the season.

The box score between Butler and Seton Hall was even in nearly every category. SHU took one more shot that Butler (9-8) with each team taking one in double overtime and none in the first overtime. Saves were even at 3-3 and corner kicks favored Butler 4-2.

Breann Pempek and Halle Stelbasky combined for four of Butler's eight shots against Seton Hall. BU nearly won the match in the closing seconds of double overtime with Amanda Kowalski taking a late shot on goal, but a diving save from Laura Dramis would keep zeros on the scoreboard.

Butler once again used two goalkeepers with Hannah Luedtke getting the start and Leonie Doege coming in to close down the contest. Luedtke had two saves on the night while Doege made one in 65 minutes of playing time.

Butler will return to action on Sunday afternoon with a 1 PM match at Providence. Action will stream live on BEDN.
