BIG EAST Tournament Scenarios
Â
- With a win against Villanova and a St. John's loss or tie, Butler is the #2 seed
- With a win and a St. John's win, St. John's is #2 and Butler is #3 because of the head-to-head tie breaker.
- With a tie and a St. John's tie, St. John's is #2 and Butler is #3.
- With a loss and a Xavier win, St. John's would be #2, Xavier would be #3 and Butler would be #4.
If the Bulldogs are a #2 seed, they will host a semifinal on November 1. If they are the #3 or #4 seed, they will host a quarterfinal on Oct. 28.
