After a weekend off from competition, the Bulldogs travel to Nashville, Tenn. for five games in three days beginning Friday.
Butler plays host Belmont on Friday, Northern Iowa and North Carolina A&T on Saturday, and Northern Iowa and Belmont for a second time on Sunday.
Junior
Jenna Foreman paces the Bulldogs in batting with a season average of .484. She has 15 hits in 31 at bats and has scored two runs. Her five stolen bases lead the team. She earned BIG EAST weekly Honor Roll accolades for her performance in College Station, Texas, going 6-for-13 on the weekend with two stolen bases.
Alyssa Lach and
Kaitlin Doud are tied for the team-lead in RBIs with three. Doud has two hits and the only homerun for the Bulldogs this season.
Maddie Moore leads the team in on base percentage (.538). She has five hits and two stolen bases so far this season.
On the mound,
Alyssa Graves has only given up eight earned runs in her 25.1 innings of play. Graves had her best outing of the season against Iowa, pitching a complete game shutout with seven strikeouts. The freshman earned BIG EAST weekly Honor Roll accolades for her performance as well.
Gabbi Schnaiter has also seen considerable time in the circle for the Bulldogs. After 15.0 innings of work, the sophomore has only allowed nine earned runs, posting an ERA of 4.20.
