The Bulldogs went 0-1-1 in week two of conference play after shutting out Seton Hall 3-0 in the BIG EAST opener. Butler fell in a close 2-1 contest at DePaul and went on to force a draw with Villanova at home.

Soderstrom scored the Bulldogs' lone goal against the Blue Demons and drew the penalty against the Wildcats to create the equalizer PK opportunity for Savich.
