Brad Sznajder was named to the CoSIDA Academic All-District team for the second-straight year. The 2019 Academic All-District Football Team, selected by CoSIDA, recognizes the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the field and in the classroom. The CoSIDA Academic All-America program separately recognizes football honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA.
Sznajder holds a 3.88 grade point average and will leave Butler with a degree in finance. The senior has 773 rushing yards this season and three touchdowns. Sznajder is averaging 4.3 yards per carry and 70.3 rushing yards per game.
Sznajder rushed for 150 yards and two touchdowns in Butler's 24-14 win over Jacksonville. He also topped 100-yards in the win over Indiana Wesleyan in the home opener. The senior has 2,036 total rushing yards as a Bulldog over 42 games.
First-team Academic All-District® honorees advance to the CoSIDA Academic All-America® ballot. First- and second-team Academic All-America honorees will be announced in early December.
