The Bulldogs wrapped up a 3-0 weekend Saturday, defeating Cleveland State 5-2 and sweeping Marian 7-0. With the win over Youngstown State Friday afternoon, Butler is now a perfect 3-0 at the Butler Tennis Bubble in 2019.

In the first match of the day against Cleveland State, Butler swept the doubles point with wins by Michael Dickson and Mason Dragos, and Aviv Ben Shabat and Adrian Mag. In the No. 1 spot, Dickson and Dragos won 6-4, while Mag and Ben Shabat posted a 6-2 victory.

For the second weekend in a row, Mason Dragos beat a nationally ranked player in Cleveland State's #113 Nico Mostardi. Dragos came from behind after a 6-3 loss in the first set to win sets two and three, 6-1, 6-3, respectively.  Thomas Brennan took down his opponent in straight sets in the No. 4 spot, 6-4, 7-5.

Ryan Roegner clinched the win for Butler in the No. 5 spot, taking down Raul Teichmann, 6-2, 6-2. Spencer Lang also posted a win in the No. 6 spot, 6-2, 6-4.

Following the win over Cleveland State, the Bulldogs continued their success, sweeping Marian 7-0. To earn the doubles point, Dragos and Roegner posted a 6-1 win in the No. 1 spot. Brennan and Lang followed with a 6-1 win in the No. 2 spot.

All six singles players posted straight set wins for Butler. Roegner clinched the match yet again for the Bulldogs, defeating Nathan Bogle 6-2, 6-2 in the No. 3 spot. Mason Dragos finished his weekend undefeated in the No. 1 spot with a 6-1, 6-2 win.

Sam Sullivan and Adrian Mag were successful in singles play, with Sullivan defeating Ian Deiters 6-1, 6-1 and Mag topping Noah Roberts 6-1, 6-0.

The Bulldogs look to continue their success next weekend, with two home games against Dayton (Feb. 8, 12PM), and Washington University (Feb. 9, 10AM). Following the match against the Bears, Butler heads to Greencastle, Ind. to take on DePauw at 6 p.m.
