Senior Lauren Tibbets has been named the BIG EAST Golfer of the Week, as announced by the conference office Friday, March 15. Tibbets also took the weekly league honor earlier this season on Oct. 4.

Tibbets led the Bulldogs to the team title at the Savannah Spring Fling with a third-place finish in the 42-player field. She shot a 75 (+3) in the event's lone round Thursday. Earlier in the week, she tied for 20th at the Benbow Invitational in Jacksonville.

The Bulldogs finish off their three-tournament Spring Break trip with the Bobby Nichols Invitational hosted by Tennessee Tech. The 54-event begins Sunday and runs through Tuesday in Sevierville, Tenn.
