The Bulldogs pulled out another important BIG EAST win Sunday afternoon, coming from behind for the second straight match to defeat DePaul, 4-3. Butler's six seniors were recognized between the doubles and singles matches.

The Blue Demons tallied the first point of the day, taking the doubles point after notching two wins on the No. 2 and 3 courts. DePaul would then pull ahead 2-0 after Chris Casati defeated
Michael Dickson at the No. 4 singles court, 6-3, 6-1.

Aviv Ben Shabat brought the Bulldogs back within one, taking down Luuk Wassenaar at the No. 3 court, 6-4, 6-2. The next court to finish was the No. 1 court where Vito Tonejc defeated
Mason Dragos 6-2, 7-6 (4) to put the Blue Demons up 3-1.

Thomas Brennan pulled through for the Bulldogs at the No. 2 court, defeating Boris Spanjaard 7-5, 7-5, to keep the Blue Demons from clinching the match. Senior
Spencer Lang followed it up with a victory at the No. 6 court against Tamas Zador, winning 6-4, 6-3 to bring the score even at 3-3.

The match would come down to
Adrian Mag at the No. 5 court. Mag took the first set against Fran Tonejc, 6-4, but fell in the second set, 6-1. The senior would pull through in the third set, beating Tonejc 6-1 to clinch the match for Butler.

Butler ends the regular season 20-6 (4-1 BIG EAST) and on a five-game winning streak. Next up for the Bulldogs is the BIG EAST Tournament, held in Cayce, S.C. from April 19-21. Match pairings and times will be announced tomorrow, April 15.
