The Bulldogs wrapped up their impressive weekend on Saturday, as they had athletes compete in both the Jim Green Invitational in Lexington, Ky., and the Gene Edmonds Memorial Invitational in West Lafayette, Ind.

In Kentucky, the highlight of the day was the impressive Butler performances in the women's 3,000 meters.
Angelina Ellis finished third overall with a new personal-best time of 9:48.64. Emily Borchers of Dayton won the event with a time of 9:45.73.

Also in the women's 3,000 meters,
Josephine Thestrup (10:00.22),
Margo Hornocker (10:02.09), and
Maddie McLain (10:07.13) swept the sixth through eighth positions with Hornocker's time being a personal-best.

Camille Hines took fourth in the women's mile with a time of 4:55.80. She was joined in the mile by teammates
Corinna Pena (seventh overall) and
Morgan Walsh (13th overall), who each had personal-record times of 4:56.73 and 5:04.54, respectively. Sophomore
Mia Beckham also competed in the event and finished with a time of 5:11.75.

On the men's side of the Jim Green Invitational,
Matthew Wigelsworth made his Butler debut in the 800 meters and finished fourth with a time of 1:53.00.

Jacob Uhl won his heat and finished eighth overall in the 400 meters by running a time of 48.79.

Barry Keane and
Simon Bedard each had impressive mile performances. Keane finished in sixth with a time of 4:11.50 and Bedard in twelfth finishing in 4:16.54.

In the 3,000 meters,
James Sweeney finished second in his heat and tenth overall with a time of 8:43.07.Â
Nick Doud ran a time of 8:51.81 in his first collegiate race.

At the Gene Edmonds Memorial Invitational,
Lily Hess continued her outstanding weekend. After setting the school record in the 60-meter dash with a time of 7.77 on Friday, she added a fourth-place 200-meter finish on Saturday by crossing the line in 25.48.

Also in the 200 meters for the women,
Carson Fields finished in sixth with a time of 25.89,
Rebecca Collester in 11th at 26.43 and
Madeline Miller in 22nd with a time of 27.64.

Clare McCabe ran a personal-best time of 10:21.03 in the 3,000 meters, which was good for sixth overall.

On the men's side at Purdue,
Sam Robinson had two top ten finishes on the day. His long jump mark of 7.00m was good for sixth and his high jump mark of 1.90m was eighth overall.

Luke Hofrichter wrapped up the heptathlon competition and finished seventh overall with a personal-best score of 4,001.

Colton Haymon won his heat of the 200-meter dash and finished eighth overall with a time of 23.29.

Other notable finishes on the day included
Jacob McKenna, who finished ninth in the 3,000 meters with a personal-record time of 8:58.94;
Nick Robie who finished ninth in the 800 meters with a personal-best time of 2:06.98; and
Chandler McGaha whose personal-best time of 4:23.85 was 13th overall in the mile.

The Bulldogs have a week off before they are back in action at the Gladstein Invitational in Bloomington Ind., on Jan. 24-25.
