Bevelhimer was a first team all-league selection and a finalist for the Fred Mitchell Outstanding Place-Kicker Award in 2019. He made 10 of his 12 field goals attempts on the year and was perfect on extra points. He hit a career-long 52 yard field goal at Marist and was tabbed PFL Special Teams Player of the Week on Nov. 17 after delivering the game-winning kick vs. Valpo to help BU win the Hoosier Helmet Trophy.
Mason Brunner and
Brad Sznajder joined Bevelhimer as first team selections. Brunner was the top long snapper in the PFL and also led BU in tackles at linebacker with 97. The senior recorded at least five tackles in every game this year and hit double figures in four contests.
Sennett, Mahalak and DelGrosso were also impact players on the BU defense. Sennett ranked second on the team with 95 tackles while DelGrosso followed him in the category with 85. Mahalak posted 33 tackles and was near the team lead in tackles for loss with seven.
On the other side of the ball, Dennis and McArthur highlighted the Butler offensive unit. McArthur was the only returner to the BU offensive line in 2019. He suited up in all 12 games for BU at guard and helped open up plays for Dennis on the outside. A senior wideout, Dennis leaves campus after a successful senior season which included 41 catches for 593 yards and three touchdowns. He also scored a four-yard rushing TD to help Butler defeat Indiana Wesleyan in the home opener.
