The Bulldogs dropped a pair of games in Cedar Falls, Iowa Saturday morning as part of an event hosted by the University of Northern Iowa at the UNI Dome.

Butler fell to Iowa State, 8-0, in six innings before losing to Drake by a score of 9-6 later in the morning.

All of the Cyclones' runs came in the third and sixth innings. In the third inning, Iowa State used three hits with two outs to put across three runs. In the sixth, two Butler errors contributed to five runs.

Alyssa Graves got the start for the Bulldogs, allowing three runs in four innings of work. She struck out four. Madison Seigworth came on in relief for the final two innings.

Lauren Fey had both of Butler's hits in the contest.

The Bulldogs conclude play at the Doc Halverson UNI-Dome Classic with a 9 a.m. (Central) first pitch Sunday morning against South Dakota State.
