SCOUTING MURRAY STATE: The Racers took a 51-0 loss at #11 Missouri over opening weekend. Jayden Johannsen got the start at QB for Murray State and completed seven of his 13 pass attempts against a fierce Tiger defense. Jawaun Northington led the rushing attack with seven carries for 25 yards and the defensive leader for the Racers over Week 1 was Amari Wansley with 10 tackles.

Murray State will be celebrating 100 years of Racer football on Saturday. Despite the setback to Missouri, the team is receiving votes in the AFCA FCS Coaches Poll.

Murray State's last game against a PFL opponent came just one year ago in the 2023 season opener. They defeated Presbyterian 41-10. Butler's last game against a Missouri Valley team came in 2022 when the Bulldogs played at South Dakota State.

REAGAN ANDREW NAMED PFL OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK: Making his first collegiate start,
Reagan Andrew tossed three touchdowns and ran for another as Butler secured a 40-7 victory against Upper Iowa on Saturday. He completed 5-of-10 passes to amass 119 yards and added 32 rushing yards.

Andrew threw a 16-yard TD pass to William Enneking in the second quarter against Upper Iowa and ended the first half with a 70-yard score to Luke Wooten. His 22-yard rushing TD came midway through the third at the Sellick Bowl and his final TD pass went to Archie Cox from 19 yards out.
