INDIANAPOLIS – The Butler men's soccer team recognized its seniors prior to Saturday's match with Creighton, the final home contest of the season. The Bluejays (8-3-3, 4-1-1 BIG EAST) scored three first-half goals, building an early cushion, though the Bulldogs (5-9-1, 2-3-1 BIG EAST) cut into the lead with a goal just prior to the break. In the second half, Butler generated seven shots but could not close the gap, leading to a 3-1 final result.
The eight seniors and their families who were honored in Senior Day ceremonies were:

- 18' | Butler rattled off three-successive shots from three different players in front of the goal, with each attempt being saved by the Creighton keeper.
- 23' | Creighton draws a foul just outside the penalty area. The subsequent free kick from Omar Ramadan goes directly into the upper right corner of the net. The Bluejays take an early 1-0 lead.
- 27' | Creighton's Miguel Arrilla uses a bicycle kick from 12 yards out to double the lead.
- 42' | Creighton's Ayden Kokoszka carries down the center of the field and strikes from the arc. His goal gives the Bluejays a three-goal cushion.
- 42' | Butler responds quickly. Ryan Hannosh has the ball on the left side and plays in to Adam Watson. Watson plays it right back, and Hannosh slides one by the Creighton keeper, just inside the far post. The Dawgs cut the Bluejays' lead to 3-1.
- 44' | A Bernardo Raposo free kick finds the head of Peter Tolkin. His shot to the far post hits the bar and bounces away.

- 71' | Hannosh sends a cross in from the right side. Josemir Gomez heads it along from seven yards, and the Creighton keeper makes a diving save at the left post. Aiden Benitez touches the deflection, but it sails just wide of the post.
