The Butler softball team hosts UConn this week for a three-game BIG EAST series. The Bulldogs (17-13, 9-3 BIG EAST) are coming off a 1-2 series with Creighton last weekend and a loss at Indiana on Wednesday evening. The Huskies (17-22, 9-3 BIG EAST) swept Villanova last weekend and defeated Boston College on Tuesday. Butler and UConn are currently tied with Creighton for the second spot in the conference standings. All three teams are just behind Providence, which hosts St. John's this weekend.
