Luedtke On Pace to Make History
Goalkeeper
Hannah Luedtke has been phenomenal for Butler through the first 13 games of the season. Her numbers include five shutouts, 45 saves and a 0.50 goals-against average. Luedtke is now on pace to break the Butler single-season goals-against average school record which was set by Julie Burton during the 2012 season (0.69).
Kashimoto Approaching BU History
Serena Kashimoto will look to place her name in the Butler women's soccer record book in the coming weeks after a fantastic start to the season. The senior midfielder leads the team in points (20) and goals scored (8). Her assist total (4) is also tied for the team lead. To reach the BU top ten list, Kashimoto will need three more goals, four more assists or eight more points. As a junior, Kashimoto was named First Team All-BIG EAST, First Team All-Northeast Region, and Second Team All-America. Those accolades landed her on the 2016 Women's MAC Hermann Trophy Watch List (NSCAA), a prestigious individual award in college soccer presented annually to the outstanding female player of the year.
