Creighton's other BIG EAST win came over Xavier 1-0. The three losses for the Bluejays come at the hands of St. John's (2-1), DePaul (2-1 OT), and Georgetown (7-1). No. 4 Georgetown is the first team to qualify for the 2018 BIG EAST Women's Soccer Championship presented by Jeep. The Hoyas picked up their 18
th points of league season with a win over Providence on Sunday. The Hoyas are undefeated on the season with notable wins against No. 17 West Virginia, 2-0, and No. 25 Princeton, 2-1, in overtime. Caitlin Farrell has been the offensive standout for Georgetown, scoring 14 goals with one assist for 29 total points. Ariell Schechtman has been the anchor in goal, only allowing three goals in 13 games.

Paige Monaghan would seal the road win for the Bulldogs. The Bulldogs and Hoyas battled twice last season, the first during the regular season that would end in a 0-0 double overtime draw. The Georgetown Hoyas defeated the Butler Bulldogs 3-0 in the next match-up to win the 2017 BIG EAST Tournament Championship. The match featured a 1-0 halftime score, but two additional Hoya goals over the final 45 minutes of action would seal the victory.
BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll
Julia Leonard and
Katie Soderstrom each found a spot on the BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll after their performances vs. DePaul. Leonard led a Butler defense which limited DePaul to just six shots, three on goal, in the 2-1 win over the Blue Demons. DePaul entered the contest averaging over 14 shots per league game. Soderstrom scored the 88
th-minute game winner against DePaul to give the Bulldogs their 10
th victory of the season. The goal was the freshman's second of the season and first of the game-winning kind.
