For the second time in her collegiate career, senior
Lauren Tibbets won the Butler Fall Invitational. Tibbets carded a final round 69 (-1) Tuesday at Highland Golf Club to move into the top spot on the leaderboard.
After an opening-round 72, Tibbets finished at one-over 141 for the tournament. That was one shot better than Indiana's Mary Parsons, who entered Tuesday with a four-shot lead. Parsons shot a four-over 74 in the final round to finish at 142 (+2).
Tibbets also won the event as a freshman in 2015.
The Bulldogs shot 610 for the tournament, bettering second-place Indiana State by 22 shots. IUPUI (636), UIC (644), Evansville (645), Green Bay (649), Chicago State (652), St. Francis (656), Delaware State (666), and Marian (678) rounded out the 10-team field.

Ally Ross finished in a tie for tenth after rounds of 78 and 79 for a total of 157. Freshman
Claire Edwards shot 82 Tuesday after a Monday 77 to finish in a tie for 15
th at 159.
Megan Skoog was 10 shots better on Tuesday with a second-round 76. Her 36-hole total of 162 was good for T-21
st.
Betsy Werner (T37; 165) rounded out the five-member Butler squad.
In her first outing as a Bulldog, freshman
Nicole Jordan tied for tenth at 157. She played as an individual, matching the second-best performance by a Butler golfer in the event.

Lexy Stuckey (T48; 168) also competed as individuals.
It's a quick turnaround for the Bulldogs, who travel to the Yale Invitational this weekend for 54 holes Friday-Sunday.
