The #2 seed Bulldogs are set to take on the #1 seed Georgetown Hoyas in the BIG EAST Championship match on Sunday, Nov. 4. This is the second straight season the Bulldogs and Hoyas have met in the final, with Georgetown taking the 2017 Championship match 3-0. Kickoff is set for 1 p.m. and the match will air live on FS1.

Four Bulldogs Earn All-BIG EAST Honors
Four Bulldogs earned postseason honors after an announcement from the BIG EAST Conference office.
Anja Savich was tabbed Freshman of the Year while three other Bulldogs earned All-BIG EAST Honors. Senior midfielder
Paige Monaghan and redshirt junior defender
Annika Schmidt earned spots on the All-BIG EAST First Team. Savich was also named to the All-BIG EAST Second Team and the BIG EAST All-Freshman Team. Joining Savich on the All-Freshman team is teammate
Morgan Kloosterman.
Series History
Butler and Georgetown will meet in the BIG EAST Championship for the second straight season. The Hoyas advance to their third consecutive BIG EAST final and look to become the first team since 2002 to three-peat. Georgetown took a 3-0 decision over Butler in the 2017 final and a 2-0 decision in the 2018 regular season.

Home Field Advantage
The Bulldogs are a perfect 9-0 at home this season and have only trailed one time at the Sellick Bowl. Butler has outscored opponents 22-4 at home this season, with 10 of those goals coming against BIG EAST opponents. In order to win their second BIG EAST title, Butler will have to defeat Georgetown at home where the Hoyas are 7-0-1. The Bulldogs are 4-5-1 on the road.
BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll
Stelbasky earned a spot on the BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll after netting her 6th goal of the season last Thursday night, which proved to be the game winner in the Bulldogs' 2-1 win over Villanova. With the win over Nova, the Bulldogs helped to secure the #2 seed, and the bye, in the tournament field.

With a win over Georgetown, the Bulldogs clinch their second straight NCAA Tournament appearance. With a loss, the Bulldogs will look to the NCAA Tournament selection show on Monday, Nov. 5. The championship provides for a field of 64 teams. Thirty-one conference champions qualify automatically; the balance of the field is selected at-large by the NCAA Division I Women's Soccer Committee.
