Butler opened the spring portion of its schedule with a T-33 team performance in the 49-team Kiawah Island Spring Classic in South Carolina. The 54-hole event was played Sunday through Tuesday.

The Bulldogs climbed a few spots on the team leaderboard Tuesday while playing the Oak Point Golf Course.

The Bulldogs' round of the day belonged to Katelyn Le, who fired a 73 Tuesday after earlier rounds of 79 and 80. Her 54-hole total of 232 (+16) placed her in a tie for 131^st individually in the 254-player field.

Lauren Tibbets led the Bulldogs with a three-round total of 226 (+10). She shot a 76 on Tuesday in the final round. She finished in a tie for 76^th.

Megan Skoog shot a five-over 77 Tuesday to finish at 230 (T-113; +14). Ally Ross had her best round of the tournament with a Tuesday 78. She finished in a tie for 206^th at 247 (+31). Allison Kinsinger rounded out the Butler Five at 251 (+35) following an 85 Tuesday.

Butler shot 304 Tuesday, the team's best performance over the three rounds. The Bulldogs finished at 929.

Coastal Carolina and North Florida tied for the team championship at 865 (+1). North Florida's Sydney Shrader took individual honors at 207 (-9).

The Bulldogs next compete over Spring Break, beginning with the Benbow Invitational in Jacksonville, Fla., beginning March 11.
