The Bulldogs finished the Indiana State Spring Invitational in a tie for fourth, a strong showing in the 13-team field.
Senior
Lauren Tibbets led the Bulldogs, following up her even-par 72 from Sunday with a three-over 75 Monday on the 6,041-yard Country Club of Terre Haute course. Her 36-hole total of 147 (+3) put her alone in seventh.
Katelyn Le and
Megan Skoog tied for 18
th, each finishing the event at nine-over 153. Le shot 76 Monday.
As a team, Butler shot 308 Monday after carding a 300 Sunday. The Bulldogs entered the final 18 holes in third place. Butler tied with host Indiana State for fourth at 608.
California Baptist won the team competition at 578 (+2). Youngstown State (585) and Loyola (605) finished second and third, respectively.
Butler's fourth finisher was
Ally Ross, who landed in a tie for 29
th after rounds of 78 and 77 for a 155 total.
Claire Edwards shot 164 (T-61
st).
Allison Kinsinger, playing as an individual, tied for 50
th in the 77-player field at 161.
California Baptist's Jocelyn Chee Yi Min defeated teammate Erica Wang in a playoff to take individual honors. Chee Yi Min entered Monday's final round three shots behind first-round leader Katlyn Shutt of Youngstown State. Chee Yi Min and Wang finished at two-under 142.
Butler's busy April continues with Tuesday's Big Four Classic at Crooked Stick Golf Club. The final event prior to the BIG EAST Championships April 19-21 will be the Lady Boilermaker Invitational at Purdue April 13-14.
