Two of the most accomplished Bulldogs in program history will be part of the 2019 edition of The Basketball Tournament (TBT).

Team KBC, and Shelvin Mack will serve as the team's head coach.

TBT is a 64-team, single elimination summer tournament airing on ESPN where the winning team takes home $2 million.Â

Team KBC will be playing in TBT's Lexington Regional, being held at Frederick Douglass HS in Lexington, Ky., from July 19-21. KBC received the fourth seed in the Lexington Region, and will take on the fifth-seeded Peoria All-Stars on Friday, July 19 at 3 p.m. ET on WatchESPN. If KBC wins, they will play Saturday, July 20 against the winner of Loyalty is Love (DeMarcus Cousins' team) and Hoopville Warriors at 4 p.m. ET on ESPN. The championship game of the Lexington Regional will be held Sunday, July 21 at 2 p.m. ET on ESPN.

TBT's 2019 format divides a 64-team field into eight regions for Rounds 1-3, with each region seeded 1-8. The last team standing will claim a winner-take-all prize of $2 million and the champion of each regional will receive a cash prize equal to 25% of the ticket sales of that particular region. Â
