Head coach Matt Roe announced the new additions to the Butler track and field and cross country teams Thursday (July 25). The 2019-20 class has a total of 14 athletes: eight men and six women. 
 
"We are excited to announce our recruiting class for 2019-20," said Roe.  "We have historically been able to add prospects who have tremendous potential and this class is no different.  This is a talented group of athletes with great upside, each of whom are exceptional students.  We cannot wait to get them to campus so they can begin to contribute to our positive, collaborative, and driven culture."
 
Within this group of athletes, 11 are distance runners will also compete in both cross country and track and field, while three athletes will specialize in track and field sprints, jumps or multi events.
