Katelyn Le paced the Bulldogs in their first event of 2020, finishing in a tie for 23
rd at the Florida Atlantic Winter Warm-Up in Boca Raton, Fla. The 54-hole event concluded Tuesday.
Le shot a five-over 77 Tuesday following rounds of 76 and 73 Monday at the Osprey Point Golf Club course. She finished the tournament at 226 (+10).
Yale's Ami Gianchandani took the individual title at two-under 214. She entered the final round tied with Seton Hall's Mia Kness. Gianchandani fired a final round 71 (-1) to beat Kness by a single stroke.
Ally Ross was the second-best Butler finisher, as her 23-over total of 239 had her in 61
st place. She shot 82 Tuesday.

Avery VonDielingen (250; +34) finished in ties for 72
nd and 74
th, respectively.
Arkansas State shot a final round 284 (-4) to overtake Seton Hall for the team title. Arkansas State finished at 878 (+14), edging Seton Hall by three shots. Yale, behind Gianchandani's performance, finished third.
The Bulldogs finished 14
th in the field, posting a 54-hole total of 960 (+96).
Butler returns to action March 9-10 in Jacksonville, Fla., hosting the annual Benbow Invitational to begin the program's annual Spring Break trip.
