Angelina Ellis will be part of the Bulldog squad headed to Eugene, Oregon for the national championships after grabbing the 12^th place spot in the women's 3,000-meter steeplechase.

Ellis clocked a personal-best 10:04.22 in the event, finishing fourth in her section. She ran in the third and final heat, and recorded one of the fastest closing laps of the runners in the race to grab the final qualifying position.

Ellis will join Barry Keane, Euan Makepeace, and Remi Schyns at the NCAA Championship. Ellis and Schyns will both run the 3,000-meter steeplechase.

Kami Hankins was the only other Bulldog competitor on Saturday, finishing 44^th in the women's 5,000-meter with a time of 17.49.60.

The NCAA Division I Men's and Women's Outdoor Track and Field Championships held June 9-12 in Eugene, Oregon.
