Butler's track and field teams will send separate squads to two locations this weekend. Ten runners will head to Bloomington for the Indiana University Hoosier Hills, while eight will take off for Washington's Husky Classic.
Senior distance runner
Erik Peterson won his second BIG EAST weekly track honor this season after an impressive performance at last weekend's Meyo Invitational. Peterson will be one of the eight runners heading to Seattle and will run the Men's 5k Invitational on Friday. Senior distance runner
Olivia Pratt will also be running Friday in the Women's 5k Invitational.
Maddie Westerhoff will also compete in the 5k on Friday.
Bobby Johnson and
Jacob Priddey will run the 3,000 meters on Saturday.
Josephine Thestrup and
Olivia Anderson are each scheduled to run the mile, while
Johnny Leverenz will run the 800 meters.
Meanwhile,
Katherine Turner will lead a total of 10 Bulldogs to Bloomington on Friday for the Hoosier Hills at Gladstein Fieldhouse.
