Minner and Gardner Return for 2020-21 Season on the PNC Butler Radio Network

The PNC Butler Radio Network will feature both familiar voices and networks for the 2020-21 men's basketball season. The radio specifics for the upcoming season were announced Tuesday, Nov. 3.

Fans will hear the extremely popular voices of Mark Minner and Nick Gardner as they broadcast play-by-play and game analysis, respectively. This season marks the 15th for Gardner and eighth for Minner.

Once again, WFNI 107.5 FM, 93.5 FM and 1070 AM will broadcast a majority of Butler's games. In the Indianapolis market, select games will be carried on WIBC 93.1 FM or CBS Sports 1430 AM in the event of game conflicts with the Indiana Pacers or Indianapolis Colts.

"PNC Bank has been a long-standing partner of Butler Athletics, and we greatly appreciate their continued support," said Butler Vice President/Director of Athletics Barry Collier. "With the help of our partners at Butler Sports Properties, we've created a true home for our broadcasts through the PNC Butler Radio Network. Mark and Nick are tremendous ambassadors for our university and our basketball program, and we're excited to welcome them back for another season."

Butler head coach LaVall Jordan will once again join radio host Dan Dakich for a weekly segment throughout the season. The interviews will air every Wednesday at the top of the Dan Dakich Show at noon on WFNI 107.5 FM, 93.5 FM and 1070 AM.

PNC became the official bank of Butler Athletics in 2012, and that partnership grew to include the PNC Butler Radio Network, which launched in 2016.

Learfield's Butler Sports Properties, the university athletic department's multimedia rights partner, secured the first-ever naming rights for the radio network prior to the 2016-17 campaign.

Butler is finalizing its non-conference schedule, while its December BIG EAST games were announced earlier this week.

Butler continues to work with university and local officials to determine the fan capacity for Hinkle Fieldhouse this season, as well as the protocols that will be required of all fans at Butler events. Once our men's basketball capacity has been determined, ticket purchasing options will be made available to those who were season ticket holders in 2019-20 and/or those who have already placed a deposit for 2020-21.
